In order to use the Tickles service, you are required to register an account. As part of this registration we ask for some personal information, including a valid email address and your mobile telephone number. The information collected during registration is used only to identify you on return visits and to enable us to provide you with our service. This information remains confidential and will not be disclosed by Tickles to any third parties.

When purchasing Tickles Vouchers you will be requested to provide the following personal information: first and last name, postal address, email address, date of birth, telephone number and details of a payment mechanism, such as credit card details.

We do not store credit or debit card information. Card information supplied during the purchase process is handled directly by our payment provider, Sagepay, via a securely (SSL) encrypted connection. We store the cardholder name and postal address for the purpose of account identification and in the event of any payment disputes to enable us to identify the purchasing customer.

Update: There is now an opt-in facility to remember your card details for future purchases which can be invoked by selecting "Remember my details?" during a purchase. This facility uses a securely encrypted token mechanism whereby your card information is translated into a single secure token which is stored in our system and can be used during future transactions. At no point are your full card details stored and these tokens can only be used within the Tickles website.

Your mobile number is used to enable us to send, via SMS messages, notification of the Tickles reaching the happy point that you have specifically requested via this website. We may also send you occasional marketing SMS messages about Tickles promotions, we will NOT disclose your mobile number to any Third Party advertisers. You may opt out of receiving marketing texts by emailing info@tickles.co.uk.

Cookies

We use cookies to enable us to provide an enhanced, personalised service to our visitors. A cookie is a simple text file that is stored on your computer, enabling us to recognise regular visitors and to customise our service accordingly. No personal information about the user is stored in, or retrieved from, the cookie files. Our cookies do not enable us to see any other information from your computer, and they pose no threat to your security or privacy. Cookies are used routinely by many of the most reputable "household name" websites on the internet as an aid to providing good service.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a 'cookie' which would be stored on your computer.
